JEFF KARON, Ph.D. is a former English professor, writer, editor, poet, teacher, and technical writing consultant with over 25 years of experience working with writers of all skill levels. While part of this editing network, he has edited over 100 books, articles, stories, and poems across a broad range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and business. His specialties include general fiction, biography/memoir, literary criticism, philosophy, poetry criticism, creative writing (including poetry), business writing (including reports, web content, résumés, and cover letters), journal articles, and scholarly books.
Jeff holds a Ph.D. in English and has been a college professor and owner of an academic tutoring service. He has worked as a private freelance editor and consultant for seven years, and for over twenty-five years has guided a few thousand students in courses including creative writing, technical writing, literature, philosophy, rhetoric, ethics, and logic, among other subjects. He is a website designer and webmaster for two literary presses and a published writer, poet, and scholar in subjects such as literary criticism, linguistics, and ethics. He is a published expert on how to help students and teachers prevent plagiarism and academic dishonesty.
